Edit a channel
Note
You can’t change a channel’s Fediverse handle.
Channels are like user profiles on other Fediverse software. This means you can edit their details at any time to reflect changes you’ve made.
You can change different details depending on what type of channel you are editing:
Edit an Artist channel
To edit an Artist channel:
Log in to your pod.
Select the upload icon () in the top of the sidebar.
Select Get started under Publish your work in a channel. Your user profile opens.
Select the channel you want to delete under the Channels header. The channel’s page opens.
Select the kebab menu () to show the channel options.
Select Edit…. The Artist channel form appears.
Change the details in any of these fields:
Name
Channel Picture
Tags
Description
Select Update channel to save your changes.
Log in to your pod.
Select the upload icon () at the top of the screen.
Select Get started under Publish your work in a channel. Your user profile opens.
Select the channel you want to delete under the Channels header. The channel’s page opens.
Select the kebab menu () to show the channel options.
Select Edit…. The Artist channel form appears.
Change the details in any of these fields:
Name
Channel Picture
Tags
Description
Select Update channel to save your changes.
That’s it! You’ve updated your channel details. Users see the new details when they visit your channel page.
Edit a Podcast channel
To edit a Podcast channel:
Log in to your pod.
Select the upload icon () in the top of the sidebar.
Select Get started under Publish your work in a channel. Your user profile opens.
Select the channel you want to delete under the Channels header. The channel’s page opens.
Select the kebab menu () to show the channel options.
Select Edit…. The Artist channel form appears.
Change the details in any of these fields:
Name
Channel Picture
Tags
Language
Description
Category
Subcategory
Owner e-mail address
Owner name
Select Update channel to save your changes.
Log in to your pod.
Select the upload icon () at the top of the screen.
Select Get started under Publish your work in a channel. Your user profile opens.
Select the channel you want to delete under the Channels header. The channel’s page opens.

Select Update channel to save your changes.
You’re done! Users see the new details when they visit your channel page. The changes also reflect on your podcast’s RSS feed.
